FILIGREE CARE

Every piece of Macondo filigree jewellery is handmade with care from silver (975).  Although filigree looks very delicate, it is durable.   However,  special care is required to ensure your precious possession retains its beauty for years to come.

The following are some recommendations and guidelines for the proper care of your jewellery

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairsprays, body lotions or other chemicals

• Avoid getting your jewellery wet by removing your jewellery before bathing, showering or swimming 

• Remove your jewellery when participating in physical activity such as sport, cleaning, or gardening

• Store away separately in an airtight jewellery box

• Remove your jewellery before going to sleep

Please note it is natural for pure silver jewellery to tarnish after coming in contact with air over time.  To keep your jewellery in pristine condition we recommend regularly cleaning with a microfibre cloth.
